Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application is a failure detection method for a gas adsorbent. The failure detection method for a gas adsorbent is applied to an air conditioning device. The air conditioning device is provided with a color developing agent which can undergo a color reaction with preset gas, the color developing agent being used for detecting whether air adsorbed by the gas adsorbent contains the preset gas, and the air conditioning device is also provided with a color sensor for detecting the color developing agent color. The failure detection method for a gas adsorbent comprises the following steps: obtaining the color developing agent color detected by the color sensor; calculating a first similarity between the currently obtained color developing agent color and the previously obtained color developing agent color; and determining, if the first similarity is less than a first preset threshold, that the gas adsorbent fails. The present application also provides an air conditioning device. The air conditioning device of the present application can autonomously detect whether the gas adsorbent fails, so as to notify, in a timely manner, a user to replace the gas adsorbent, thereby improving user experience.
