A fan assembly and a vacuum cleaner. The fan assembly comprises: a housing (100) which comprises an air inlet (110) and an air outlet (112) that are communicated with each other; a rotating shaft (200) provided in the housing (100) and extending towards the air outlet (112) from the air inlet (110); a first impeller (300) provided on the rotating shaft (200) and located on one side of the air inlet (110); a diffuser (400) provided in the housing (100) and located on one side of the air outlet (112); and a second impeller (500) provided on the rotating shaft (200) and located between the first impeller (300) and the diffuser (400). According to the fan assembly, the working noise of the fan assembly can be effectively reduced while ensuring the air supply capacity of the fan assembly; the radial size of the fan assembly can be greatly reduced; and the improvement of flowing efficiency of air is ensured.
