Abstract:
Provided are a fan assembly, the efficiency of which has been improved through the improvement of the shape of a blade, and a washing machine having the same. The washing machine comprises: a cabinet; a drum installed inside the cabinet; and a fan assembly for inducing heated air into the drum. The fan assembly comprises: a shroud having an air inflow hole formed therein; a hub rotated by a driving motor; multiple blades arranged along the circumferential direction of the hub so as to guide air introduced through the air inflow hole in the circumferential direction of the hub; and a scroll for guiding the air guided in the circumferential direction of the hub to the inside of the drum, the scroll having a partition for preventing the air guided in the circumferential direction of the hub from being reintroduced through the air inflow hole. Each of the blades comprises: a shroud contact part contacting the shroud and a hub contact part contacting the hub, wherein an inflection point is formed between the shroud contact part and the hub contact part.
