Abstract:
The present invention relates to a fan coil unit having a local air blowing structure suitable for the cooling and heating of a large space by discharging cold air or warm air locally while discharging cold air or warm air for cooling or heating, to thereby increase a flow rate and an air blowing distance, the fan coil unit comprising: a housing which has an inlet through which air flows in, and an outlet through which the flowing-in air is exhausted to the interior; a heat exchanger, connected to a water inlet pipe and a water outlet pipe while being embedded in the housing, for circulating a heat medium and heat-exchanging the air flowing in through the inlet with the heat medium to thereby provide the same to the outlet; a blower, embedded in the housing and operated by a power source, for sucking air in through the inlet and supplying the same to the outlet; and a local air blowing member, installed in the outlet of the housing, for increasing a flow rate of warm air or cold air by the blower and also extend an air blowing distance.
