Abstract:
Provided are a fan and a compressor stator blade in which the laminar flow region over a blade surface is expanded to reduce loss. In the stator blade, when a parameter obtained by normalizing the angle formed by a tangent to a point on the blade surface and the axial direction of a turbo fan engine, i.e., the blade surface angle, is referred to as a normalized blade surface angle, an upper limit is set for the chordwise rate of change in the normalized blade surface angle on the pressure surface, and an upper limit is set for the normalized blade surface angle at a predetermined chordwise position on a suction surface.
