Abstract:
Disclosed is a fan (radial or axial fan) comprising an impeller wheel and an inlet guide device in the flow path upstream of the impeller wheel, preferably upstream of the inlet region of an inlet nozzle, said inlet guide device taking the form of an inlet guide grid with ribs and/or guide vanes which are arranged and designed so that a substantially swirl-free inflow is produced and that the flow can be modified circumferentially.
