Abstract:
This fan unit, which is used in an outdoor unit of an air conditioner, has a motor, an impeller, and a panel. The impeller rotates due to the power of the motor about a central axis that extends in the fore-aft direction. The panel is disposed to the front of the impeller and has a plurality of through-holes that transmit an air flow that is generated by the rotation of the impeller. Furthermore, the panel has a center portion, which supports a stationary portion of the motor, and at least one rib. The rib includes a first rib that extends from the center portion toward the outside in the radial direction. The rigidity of the panel is improved due to the fact that the panel has the first rib. This makes it possible to suppress deformation of the panel.
