Abstract:
A fast cooling shaved ice production device according to the present invention is provided with: a filtration means provided to a water supply line that is provided to a housing and that is connected to a faucet of tap water; a water storage tray that has an opening at the upper end and that temporarily accepts, as "water for shaved ice", the filtered water supplied from the water supply line; an ice layer formation rotation drum provided to the housing; a fast cooling means that includes a hollow rod-like member having a portion thereof penetrating one side wall of the ice layer formation rotation drum; a shaving blade for shaving off a film-like ice layer formed on the outer circumferential surface of the ice layer formation rotation drum; and a first turntable on which a container capable of receiving snow-like shaved ice shaved off by the shaving blade can be placed and which is rotated by driving force of a first rotary mechanism. The fast cooling means constitutes a circulation line for supplying a refrigerant, together with a heat exchange means and a compressor provided to the housing, the hollow rod-like member connected to the heat exchange means, and the compressor connected to the hollow rod-like member. An air cooling type driving means is disposed near the heat exchange means. Snow-like shaved ice can be made from clean water obtained by removing general bacteria and undesirable components contained in tap water, and running cost can be reduced.
