Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of communications and provides a fast WIFI connection method and apparatus. The method comprises the following steps: after detecting that a user turns on WIFI connection, an intelligent terminal loads a WIFI drive and starts a WIFI protected access support library wpa_supplicant; after determining that the wpa_supplicant is started, the intelligent terminal issues a scanning command and executes a scanning operation; the intelligent terminal concurrently executes operations of loading access points stored before, setting all the stored access points to be in a connectable state, updating the current connection state, opening WIFI peer to peer, and setting WIFI peer to peer parameters; after setting the WIFI peer to peer parameters, the intelligent terminal is connected to a first access point according to the scanning result of the scanning operation.The technical solution provided by the present invention has an advantage of high user experience.
