Abstract:
The disclosed tool is provided with: a transfer mechanism that transfers, in one direction, a row of fasteners supported in a supply channel; a cutting mechanism that cuts weakened parts of the row of fasteners supported in the supply channel; a loading member, in a loading unit located frontwards in terms of the transfer direction of the transfer mechanism and adjacent to the front fastener in the supply channel, that holds one fastener cut by the cutting mechanism; a slide mechanism that moves the loading member forwards and backwards; and a push-in mechanism that pushes on a male member on the fastener loaded into the loading member, thereby widening the outer diameter of a leg part thereof. Counting the front fastener as the first fastener, the cutting mechanism cuts the weakened parts of second and subsequent fasteners.
