Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide a fastener for an ornament, applicable to multiple types of pins with different diameters, applicable to small-sized ornaments such as pierced earrings, and manufacturable at moderate cost. [MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS] A guide tube having a tapered part formed on its inner wall surface is installed in a housing having an opening into which a pin is inserted. Spheres and a sphere pressing member having a flange member are disposed in the inner space of the guide tube. The flange member is in contact at its lower surface with the spheres, and the sphere pressing member is always biased toward the opening into which the pin is inserted. The pin is held at a position that is inside a circle formed by the spheres and is located at that inner diameter position of a tapered part that corresponds to the numerical value obtained by the expression of “pin diameter + sphere diameter x 2.”
