Abstract:
A fastener stringer (1, 49, 59, 69) for a concealed slide fastener, configured in such a manner that left and right fastener tapes (10, 40, 50, 60) comprise tape’s body sections (11), tape’s bend sections (12, 42, 62) which are bent in a U-shape, and element mounting sections (13), the fastener tapes (10, 40, 50, 60) having formed thereto hollow weave sections (14, 44, 54, 64), the hollow weave sections (14, 44, 54, 64) having contained therein film bodies (15, 45, 55, 65) which are sewn to the hollow weave sections (14, 44, 54, 64) together with fastener elements (20) with one end of each film body (15, 45, 55, 65) disposed further toward the tape’s bend section (12, 42, 62) side than a sewing thread (35). The configuration causes the rigidity of the hollow weave sections (14, 44, 54, 64) to be increased by the film bodies (15, 45, 55, 65). As a result, the left and right tape’s bend sections (12, 42, 62) are stably maintained to be in close contact with each other, and this improves the concealing characteristics of the concealed slide faster.
