Abstract:
A fastener stringer (1) for a hidden slide fastener is provided with a left and right pair of fastener tapes (10, 40, 50) and fastener elements (20). The fastener tapes (10, 40, 50) are provided with main tape bodies (11), folded tape sections (12) folded in a U shape, and element mounting sections (13). The folded tape sections (12) are each provided with at least two multiple-weave sections (15, 45, 55) in which warp yarns (31) form a multiple-weave structure, and also with a single-weave section (16) provided at at least a portion in an intermediate section of the folded tape section (12). The configuration increases the rigidity of the folded tape sections (12) in the lateral direction of the tapes and prevents the positions of the warp yarns (31) from being displaced in the multiple-weave sections (15, 45, 55) in the lateral direction of the tapes. This causes, even if the fastener stringer (1) is subjected to lateral pulling force, the folded tape sections (12) to be less likely to move in the direction in which the folded tape sections (12) are separated from each other, and as a result, the hidden slide fastener (2) can be more effectively hidden.
