Abstract:
A method for repairing a fastener stringer is configured in such a manner that, when at least one of the injection-molded first fastener elements (20) of a fastener stringer (11, 12) is damaged, a second fastener element (30, 50) which is provided with a first half-section (31, 51), a second half-section (32, 52), and a fastening means (33, 53) for mechanically fastening the first and second half-sections (32, 52) together is used as the fastener element for replacement. A through-hole (18) is formed at a predetermined position of the fastener tape (14), the fastening means (33, 53) is inserted through the through-hole (18), and the first half-section (31, 51) and the second half-section (32, 52) are fastened together by the fastening means (33, 53) to attach the second fastener element (30, 50) to the fastener tape (14). The configuration enables the fastener stringer (11, 12) to be repaired easily and quickly, and as a result, the cost and time required for the repair can be drastically reduced.
