[PROBLEMS] A fastening band capable of fastening an object even if the circumferential length of the band varies slightly. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The fastening band has a freely bendable band body (10), an outer plate (30) connected to one end of the band body (10) via a pair of connection members (20) and at which the other end of the band body (10) can be hooked and folded back, and a sheet-like fastener (40) for detachably fixing the folded back part of the band body (10). In a region on which the folded back part of the band body (10) is superposed are arranged high-rigidity sections (H) with intervals in the lateral direction of the band body (10), and the high-rigidity sections (H) are those sections of the band body (10) that have higher rigidity than the other sections of the band body (10). The tension of the band body (10) acting when the band is wound around an object is applied to it with the high-rigidity sections (H) as the starting points of the tension.
