Abstract:
[Problem] To automate an operation for fastening a bolt in which a male thread part is formed on the outer peripheral surface of a bolt head part. [Solution] A fastening device for fastening a bolt into an object to be fastened, the bolt being such that a bolt-head-part male thread part is formed on a side surface of a bolt head part, and such that a part to be engaged is formed on a top surface of the bolt head part, wherein the fastening device is characterized by having: a bit having a tension rod that has a rod female thread part for threading onto the bolt-head-part male thread part, and an engaging part that is installed inside the tension rod so as to be vertically retractable and that engages with the part to be engaged, the bit causing the bolt to rotate about a vertically extending axis in a state in which the part to be engaged and the engaging part are engaged; a supporter disposed at a position so as to surround the tension rod in the circumferential direction, the supporter being such that the lower end part thereof protrudes below the lower end part of the tension rod; a sensor for sensing vertical compression force acting on the supporter; a first motor for causing the bit to rotate about the axis; and a second motor for causing the tension rod to rotate about the vertically extending axis.
