Abstract:
Provided are a fastening member and a fastening construction that can be provided in a location having narrow clearance. The fastening member is provided with a screw portion disposed on one end side in an axial direction, a flat head portion which is disposed on the other end side in the axial direction and which has a flat top surface, and a plate portion which is disposed between the screw portion and the flat head portion, and which has a surface area larger than the surface area of a seating surface of the flat head portion. The plate portion is formed integrally with the flat head portion, for example. Further, the plate portion is welded to the flat head portion, for example. Further, the plate portion is molded integrally with the flat head portion, for example.
