Abstract:
A fastening member exhibiting sufficient loosening prevention effect without an increase in the size of the fastening member. The fastening member (sealed container (1), for example) fastens two members together by connecting them by screw threads. Screw crests (12, 23) of screw threads provided on one member (container body (2), for example) and screw roots (13, 25) of screw threads provided on the other member (cap (3), for example) are adapted to be engageable with each other. Either recesses (14) or projections (26) are provided at the screw crests (12, 23) and the other at the screw roots (13, 25). When the one member is driven into the other member in the direction of the threads of the screw crests (12, 23) and the screw roots (13, 25) up to a position at which fastening is completed, the recesses (14) and the projections (26) engage with each other.
