Abstract:
Disclosed is a fastening tool (10) that is inserted into a hollow section within a structure having a C-shaped cross section and that fixes a mating member, wherein the fastening tool (10) comprises a base (80) and a nut (90) that are inserted through the opening of the structure. The nut (90) has a short side (C1) that is narrower than the width of the opening and a long side (C2) that is longer than the width of the opposing section. The short side (C1) of the nut (90) is inserted through the aforementioned opening into the hollow section within the structure at a mounting position that matches the short side of the base (80), is rotated within the hollow section by screwing in a male screw that is inserted through the opening, and reaches a fixed position in which the nut will not fall out of the opening as a result of the long side (C2) of the nut (90) intersecting with the opening. The base (80) is equipped with a temporary fixing stop (104) that temporarily fixes the nut (90) in the mounting position.
