Abstract:
Disclosed is a fastening tool wherein a first nut (2) is to be inserted into an outer ring body (1), thereby being driven into rotation, wherein a second nut (4) the thread pitch of which is different from that of the first nut (2), is to be inserted into an inner ring body (3), thereby being driven into rotation,wherein the inner ring body (3) is housed in the outer ring body (1), and wherein the two types of nuts (2, 4) are simultaneously rotated, thereby being fastened to a bolt (15). This fastening tool is such that a flanged shaft body (5) is driven into rotation relative to the outer ring body (1) and the inner ring body (3), with a plurality of balls (6, 7) therebetween, that the balls (6, 7) are held by the flanged shaft body (5), and are pressed against notches (1d, 3c) in the outer ring body (1) and the inner ring body (3) by the forces applied by first and second force applying members (9, 11), with holding members (8, 10) in between, that the flanged shaft body (5) is rotated, and as a consequence, the outer ring body (1)is rotated, resulting in the first nut (2) being fastened to the bolt, and that subsequently, even after the outer ring body (1) stops, the second nut (4) is fastened to the bolt in a simultaneous process by means of the rotation of only the inner ring body (3), with the result that the two nuts are simultaneously fastened efficiently in a short time.
