Abstract:
In order to prevent visceral-fat-type obesity, which is a cause of metabolic syndrome, there is provided a highly safe fat accumulation inhibitor with which it is possible to effectively inhibit and/or reduce the accumulation of fat (inhibit hypertrophy and inhibit differentiation of adipocytes). [Solution] A fat accumulation inhibitor characterized by having a solvent extract of mallotus bark as an active ingredient. Also, the mallotus bark solvent extract concentration is preferably 100-1000 μg/mL.
