Abstract:
A fat or oil composition for decreasing blood lipid, containing a triglyceride wherein specific fatty acids are artificially bonded at the 1-, 2-, and 3-positions respectively. This composition is useful preferably as food. This composition contains as the active ingredient, e.g., a triglyceride represented by the general formula (1) wherein RM is acyl derived from a saturated medium-chain fatty acid having 8 to 10 carbon atoms; RL is acyl derived from a monovalent unsaturated long-chain fatty acid having 16 to 18 carbon atoms; C1 is the 1-position carbon of triglyceride; C2 is the 2-position carbon thereof; and C3 is the 3-position carbon thereof. __________
