A fatigue driving early warning method and a cloud server (4). The fatigue driving early warning method comprises the following steps: receiving vehicle driving state information sent by an intelligent vehicle-mounted unit (2), the vehicle driving state information comprising continuous running time of a vehicle, a vehicle speed, and engine operation state information (10); determining a fatigue driving state level of a driver according to the continuous running time of the vehicle, the vehicle speed, and the engine operation state information (20); and sending an instruction corresponding to the fatigue driving state level of the driver to an intelligent mobile terminal (3) or the intelligent vehicle-mounted unit (2) (30). According to the fatigue driving early warning method and the cloud server (4), it unnecessary to collect and identify the state or sensual consciousness of the driver in a complex manner; instead, the fatigue driving state level of the driver can be determined only according to vehicle detection information such as the continuous running time of the vehicle, the vehicle speed, and the engine operation state. The identification and judgment operation is easy, the controllability is higher, the hardware cost is relatively reduced, and system framework is simplified.
