Abstract:
The present invention provides a fatigue reduction system (10) in which a warm stimulus and a cold stimulus are applied to a seated person sitting on a seat (S), whereby fatigue in the seated person can be reduced. The fatigue reduction system comprises a warm/cold stimulus device (20) that is provided to a seat and that feeds a warm stimulus and a cold stimulus to the body of a seated person, and a control device (60) for controlling the operation of the warm/cold stimulus device. The control device assesses whether the environment of an indoor space in which the seated person is living is a cold environment or a hot environment in which the seated person feels hot, in a state in which a fatigue reduction mode for reducing fatigue in the seated person has been set. If the result is that the environment of the indoor space is a hot environment, the control device controls the operation of the warm/cold stimulus device so that the amount of warm stimulus fed to the seated person is smaller than a prescribed warm stimulus reference amount. If the environment of the indoor space is a cold environment, the control device controls the operation of the warm/cold stimulus device so that the amount of cold stimulus fed to the seated person is smaller than a prescribed cold stimulus reference amount.
