Abstract:
Provided are a fault detection method and apparatus (400), and a photovoltaic power generation system capable of improving the efficiency of performing fault detection on photovoltaic modules and reducing detection costs. The method comprises: a power station management system controlling, according to a preset order of photovoltaic modules, and by means of an inverter connected to a current photovoltaic module to undergo detection, the current photovoltaic module to be in a target state, and when the current photovoltaic module is determined to be in the target state, controlling a mobile image acquisition terminal to acquire image data of the current photovoltaic module (S201), detection on a fault state of the current photovoltaic module being performed on the basis of the image data; and when it is determined that the mobile image acquisition terminal has acquired the image data of the current photovoltaic module, the power station management system continuing to control, according to the preset order of the photovoltaic modules, and by means of inverters connected to subsequent photovoltaic modules to undergo detection, the subsequent photovoltaic modules to be in the target state until image data is acquired for all photovoltaic modules to undergo detection (S202).
