Abstract:
This fault diagnosis device for speed reducers is a fault diagnosis device (1) for a speed reducer (13) that is provided in a mechanical device (11) driven by a motor (14) so that the rotational power of the motor is reduced and transmitted to an operating unit (12) of the mechanical device and is configured so as to specify an acceleration and deceleration period during which the operation of the mechanical device is accelerated and decelerated and to determine whether there is indication of a speed reducer fault on the basis of changes in the frequency spectrum in the motor current with respect to changes in the rotational speed of the motor during the acceleration and deceleration period.
