Abstract:
A fault diagnosis system for chains of a scraper conveyor. The diagnosis system comprises strain rosettes (1) attached to top end surfaces of teeth of chain wheels of a scraper conveyor. The strain rosettes (1) are connected, by shielded wires (2), to a signal acquisition unit (3) fixed on a scraper conveyor drum. The signal acquisition unit (3) sends acquired signals to a wireless receiving device (4) in a wireless transmission manner. The wireless receiving device (4) transmits the obtained acquired signals to an industrial personal computer (5) by means of a USB interface. The diagnosis method comprises three steps: chain dislocation and chain jumping fault judgment, chain breakage fault judgment, and chain clamping fault judgment. By measuring strain capacity of the teeth of the chain wheels in different directions in real time, transmitting the acquired signals to the industrial personal computer (5) in the wireless transmission manner, and then on the basis of obtained stress data, performing dynamic diagnosis on chain clamping, chain dislocation, chain jumping, chain breakage, and other faults of the chains of the scraper conveyor, technical support is provided for comprehensive state monitoring of the chains of the scraper conveyor.
