Abstract:
A fault-point-locating device (1) locates a fault point in a gas-insulated switchgear having a first tank housing a circuit breaker of a first phase, a second tank housing a circuit breaker of a second phase, and a third tank housing a circuit breaker of a third phase. The fault-point-locating device is provided with: a measurement unit (7) for measuring the respective waveform of currents flowing between each of the first tank, the second tank, and the third tank, and a ground pole to which the first tank, the second tank, and the third tank are connected; and a locating processing unit (8) for executing, on the basis of the result of measuring the respective waveform of the currents, a process for locating a fault point in the first tank, the second tank, or the third tank.
