Abstract:
Disclosed are a fault processing method, a computer system, a baseboard management controller and a system. The method comprises: determining that a correctable error storm occurs according to a collected information about correctable errors; closing the SMI enable of a generation module of a correctable error in a correctable error set, wherein the correctable error set comprises correctable errors related to the correctable error storm; sending SMI enable closing notification information to a BMC; receiving SMI enable opening notification information which is sent by the BMC after receiving the SMI enable closing notification information for a pre-determined time; and opening the closed SMI enable of the generation module of the correctable error according to the SMI enable opening notification information. The fault processing method, BIOS, BMC and system in the embodiments of the present invention can efficiently deal with a correctable error storm.
