Abstract:
The present invention provides a fault-tolerant dynamic positioning control system and method for an offshore structure, wherein, although each equipment, such as a generator, a controller, a power supply, and a control line, for performing dynamic positioning control for a floating-type offshore structure including a ship, an offshore plant, and an underwater robot is not redundantly provided, when a fault occurs in some thrusters, the dynamic positioning control can be smoothly performed through a fault-tolerant algorithm for the other thrusters.
