Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an Fe-based shape memory alloy material which has excellent workability, excellent super elasticity, and an excellent shape memory effect, and also has remarkably low temperature dependency and excellent oxidation resistance. [Solution] Provided are: an Fe-based shape memory alloy material characterized by containing 25-42 at% of Mn, 9-13 at% of Al, 5-12 at% of Ni, and 5.1-15 at% of Cr, with the remainder comprising Fe and inevitable impurities; a method for manufacturing said alloy material; and a wire and plate made from said alloy material.
