Abstract:
Feed for indoor pet animals that increases the appetite of pet animals through elimination of the chemical smell of sodium iron chlorophylin. The feed can be produced by a process comprising preparing a coating liquid comprising a mixture of 0.02 to 5 wt.% of additives containing sodium iron chlorophylin as an effective ingredient, 0.3 to 5 wt.% of hen’s egg after shell removal, 1.2 to 5 wt.% of water and an appropriate amount of edible colorant, pouring exfoliated millet in the coating liquid, mixing and drying the mixture by means of dryer so that the surface of exfoliated millet is coated with the sodium iron chlorophylin, egg components and colorant.
