Abstract:
Provided is a feed-use-efficiency improver for ruminant animals, such as cows, sheep, and goats, which exerts an effect of being able to grow healthy livestock in which the rumen fermentation is improved without using antibiotic substances or special amino acids, the number of useful bacteria in the body is increased, the feed digestibility is improved, energy loss is reduced, and the feed-use efficiency and milk yield are ameliorated. Also provided are a method for improving the feed-use efficiency for ruminant animals, a method for farming ruminant animals, and a feed for ruminant animals. Specifically, provided are a feed-use-efficiency improver for ruminant animals, a method for improving the feed-use efficiency of ruminant animals, a method for farming ruminant animals, and a feed for ruminant animals, wherein the living cells of Bacillus subtilis are used as the active ingredient.
