Abstract:
Provided is a feedback device providing thermal feedback. The feedback device, according to one embodiment, may comprise a casing, a thermal output module, and a feedback controller. The casing comprises: a contacting part which is an area with which a user makes contact when the feedback device moves when a content is being played; and a non-contacting part which is an area with which the user does not make contact even though the feedback device moves. The thermal output module comprises: flexible first and second substrates; a thermoelectric element which is interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate and performs a thermoelectric operation for thermal feedback, wherein the thermoelectric operation comprises a heat-radiating operation and a heat-absorbing operation; and a contacting surface which is disposed on the second substrate. The thermal output module is disposed on the curve-shaped inside or outside of the contacting part by means of the flexibility of the first substrate and the second substrate, and outputs thermal feedback by transferring heat generated by means of the thermoelectric operation to the user via the second substrate and the contacting surface. The feedback controller is configured so as to control the thermal output module.
