Title:
FEEDING DEVICE OF A BELT DRYING INSTALLATION AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A FEEDING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/059123
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a feeding device (10) of a belt drying installation (1) for dump or sewage sludge material (60) dewatered down to a pasty consistency. In the conveying path T of the sludge material (60) at least - one first roll (11) having transverse grooves (14) that are set back relative to the outer diameter (15) of the roll, and - a guide means (12, 13) are arranged relative to the outer diameter (15) of the first roll (11) such that when the roll (11) is rotated the sludge material (60) is drawn into the transverse grooves (14) and is shaped to elongated extrudates (61); characterized in that - the first roll (11, 12) is associated with a comb (70) which has teeth (71) that rigidly engage the transverse grooves (14) and which sweeps the extrudates (61) from the transverse grooves (14); - in that the tips (72) of the teeth (71) which rigidly engage the transverse grooves (14) define a line of engagement (75); - in that the tooth tips (72) which rigidly engage the transverse grooves (14) are beveled towards the tooth neck (73) and the outer diameter (15) of the roll (11) at an angle α which has a cutting effect; and - in that the teeth (71) of the comb (70) are arranged at an angle β relative to a tangent of the roll (11) intersecting the line of engagement (75), and said angle β has a stripping effect.
