Abstract:
A felt base fabric, comprising a fiber web layer I (600) and a fiber web layer II (700) sequentially provided from top to bottom. A plurality of reinforcing ribs is arranged between the fiber web layer I (600) and the fiber web layer II (700) and are uniformly distributed in the horizontal direction of fiber webs. The fiber web layer I (600), the reinforcing ribs, and the fiber web layer II (700) are reinforced by needling and gum dipping. A method for preparing a felt base fabric, comprising the following steps: processing polyester chips into a fiber web layer I (600) and a fiber web layer II (700), respectively; adding fiber glass filaments between the fiber web layer I (600) and the fiber web layer II (700) to obtain a middle fabric; and performing pre-needling, main needling, gum dipping, and drying on the middle fabric to obtain a finished product of felt base fabric.
