Abstract:

To facilitate attachment and removal of a communication terminal of a pipe joint member. A female pipe joint member has a female pipe joint body (12), and a tubular front cover member (34) and rear cover member (36) fitted together respectively from the front-end side and rear-end side of the female pipe joint body. The front cover member is provided with a communication terminal (72) provided to the front end, a communication cable (74) extending rearward from the communication terminal through the front cover member and from the rear end of the female pipe joint body, and a communication material (78) comprising a connector terminal at the rear end of the communication cable. In a state in which the rear cover member has been passed longitudinally through the communication cable and a hose attached to the rear end of the female pipe joint body and has been disposed in a position shifted rearward from the female pipe joint body, the rear cover member allows the connector terminal to be passed forward through the rear cover member along the hose.
