Abstract:
Provided is a female terminal 10 which is fitted to a male terminal 60 and to which an electric wire 40 is connected. The female terminal 10 is provided with: a box-shaped female-side body 12 into which the male terminal 60 is inserted and which is open in the front-rear direction; a contact pressure application section 16 whereby contact pressure is applied from the ceiling wall 14 of the female-side body 12 toward the inside of the female-side body 12; and a bottom wall contact point section 26 protruding from the bottom wall 24 of the female-side body 12 and in contact with the male terminal 60. The conductor of the electric wire 40 is attached by welding to the surface 28 on the reverse side of the surface of contact between the bottom wall 24 and the male terminal 60.
