Abstract:
A coil conductor (4) and a via electrode (9) arranged separated from the coil conductor (4) are embedded in a magnetic layer (1). The magnetic layer (1) is sandwiched between a pair of non-magnetic layers (2, 3). The coil conductor (4) and the via electrode (9) are formed using a conductive material having Cu as the main component thereof; and the magnetic layer (1) is formed using an Ni-Mn-Zn ferrite having a molar content of CuO of no more than 5 mol% and having, when the molar content (x) of Fe2O3 and the molar content (y) of Mn2O3 are indicated as (x,y), (x,y) in the ranges of A (25, 1), B (47, 1), C (47, 7.5), D (45, 7.5), E (45, 10), F (35, 10), G (35, 7.5), and H (25, 7.5). As a result, a ceramic multilayered substrate or other ceramic electronic component can be obtained that, even when baked at the same time as the conductive material having Cu as the main component thereof, maintains insulation, is able to obtain good electrical characteristics, has high reliability, and can be more compact.
