Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: ferrite particles which have a low apparent density, maintain various properties in a controllable state, and are capable of filling a fixed volume with a low weight; a ferrite carrier core material comprising said ferrite particles; a ferrite carrier in which said ferrite core material is used; and an electrophotographic developer. Accordingly, provided are: ferrite particles for a ferrite carrier core material which are characterized by being provided with an outer shell structure including Ti oxide; a ferrite carrier in which said ferrite particles are used as a ferrite carrier core material; and an electrophotographic developer.
