Abstract:
A ferritic stainless steel according to one aspect of the present invention contains, in % by mass, C: 0.030% or less, Si: 0.01-1.5%, Mn: 0.01-1.00%, P: 0.050% or less, S: 0.005% or less, Cr: 15.0-25.0%, Al: 2.0-4.0%, Ni: 1.00% or less, Nb: 0.01-0. 70%, N: 0.030% or less, B: 0.0003-0.01%, REM: 0.01-0.20%, the balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities, and has an Al-based oxide film with a thickness of 8 nm or more and less than 20 nm on the surface.
