Abstract:
The present invention suppresses local bending of an optical fiber near the base of a relatively hard tube. A ferrule structure 100 according to the present invention is provided with a ferrule 10, a first tube 21, and a second tube 22. The ferrule 10 holds an end of an optical fiber 1, and the optical fiber 1 extends from a rear projecting section 12D of the ferrule 10. The first tube 21 allows the optical fiber 1 to pass therethrough, and the front portion of the first tube 21 is inserted into a through-hole 12B of the ferrule 10 and the rear portion extends from the rear projecting section 12D. The second tube 22 covers the rear projecting section 12D, the first tube 21 which extends from the rear projecting section 12D, and the optical fiber 1 which extends from the rear end of the first tube 21, and is more bendable than the first tube 21.
