Abstract:
It was discovered that, by using (a) FDC in which position 397 is tryptophan, position 398 is methionine, position 440 is tyrosine, and position 189 is methionine and/or (b) FDC in which position 397 is tryptophan, position 398 is methionine, position 440 is tyrosine, and position 189 is tryptophan, in combination with (c) FDC in which position 397 is histidine and position 398 is glutamine, catalytic activity relating to generation of unsaturated hydrocarbon compounds is vastly improved over that achieved using the FDC of (c) alone, and it was made possible for unsaturated hydrocarbon compounds such as butadiene to be produced at high productivity.
