Abstract:
Provided is a fetal heartbeat identifying device including: a variable amplifier that amplifies an input signal in which a maternal heartbeat component and a fetal heartbeat component are mixed; an acquisition unit that acquires the fetal heartbeat component by removing the maternal heartbeat component from the input signal; and a peak detecting unit that detects a peak of the acquired fetal heartbeat component and that controls the variable amplifier so as to achieve a gain that is in accordance with the amplitude of the peak.
