Abstract:
Provided is a fiber laser system with which it is possible to modify a power cumulative distribution of an output light diverging angle without using a spatial optical system. An output combiner (OC) generates output light including laser light having different power cumulative distributions of NA, and a control unit (CU) sets the power of laser light from each fiber laser unit (FLUi) so that upper-limit NAs corresponding to not more than N-1 predetermined power cumulative rates match respective designated values in the output light.
