Abstract:
Provided is a fiber-reinforced composite member forming device provided with: a pair of forming die parts 2, 3 which approach and separate from each other to sandwich, in a clamped state, a prepreg obtained by impregnating a resin into a plurality of laminated woven fabrics; and a heat source 4 for heating the prepreg resin via the pair of forming die parts 2, 3. Each of the pair of forming die parts 2, 3 is equipped with base dies 21, 33 and design dies 25, 35 that are detachably mounted on the base dies 21, 33 and come into contact with the pregpreg. The design dies 25, 35 in the pair of forming dies parts 2, 3 are made from a metal having a lower coefficient of thermal expansion than the base dies 21, 33, and by adopting a split structure in the forming die parts, it is possible to keep the effects expansion of the forming die parts due to heating has on the fiber-reinforced composite member during heating when forming low, after achieving a reduction in the burden on workers involved in replacing the forming die parts.
