Abstract:
Disclosed is a fiber-reinforced polypropylene resin composition comprising: a polypropylene resin (A); an unsaturated carboxylic acid-modified polypropylene resin (B) that contains less than 200 μg/g of a polypropylene-derived oligomer component having 24 or fewer carbon atoms and that evaporates when heated for 30 minutes at 150℃; and reinforcing fibers (C). Also disclosed is a method for producing the fiber-reinforced polypropylene resin composition, the method comprising a step for obtaining the unsaturated carboxylic acid-modified polypropylene resin (B) by kneading polypropylene and an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof with an organic peroxide at 170 to 200℃.
