Provided is a fiber-reinforced resinous impact-receiving member, wherein a bumper beam (18) comprises a continuous fiber-reinforced resinous outer layer part (21) formed into a U-shaped cross section or a partial square-shaped cross section in which a pair of side walls (21b, 21c) are joined to the end edges of a bottom wall (21a) that faces the direction of impact load input, and a non-continuous fiber-reinforced resinous inner layer part (22) stacked over the inner surface of the outer layer part (21) and constituting a plurality of vertical ribs (22c) connected to the bottom wall (21a) and the pair of side walls (21b, 21c). The outer layer part (21) contains continuous fibers (31) arranged in the longitudinal direction of the bumper beam (18), the inner layer part (22) contains long non-continuous fibers (32) 35 mm to 50 mm in length and arranged in the direction of impact load input, and the length of the long fibers can therefore be taken advantage of to achieve sufficient bending strength and to increase the amount of impact energy absorbed.
