Disclosed are a fiber stacking apparatus and method for manufacturing a direct preform, which allow multiple rows of fibers to be arranged in a preform shape while simultaneously withdrawing the same. The fiber stacking apparatus for manufacturing a direct preform, according to one aspect of the present invention, supplies reinforced fibers to a table (22) and stacks the same in order to manufacture a fiber preform by stacking the reinforced fibers on the table (22), and comprises a reinforced fiber supply robot (30) and an edge fixing robot (40). The reinforced fiber supply robot (30) supplies, in a predetermined length, a plurality of reinforced fibers having a thermoplastic resin coated on the surfaces thereof, and the edge fixing robot (40) pushes and fixes the ends of the reinforced fibers, which are withdrawn from the reinforced fiber supply robot (30), to the table (22) while the thermoplastic resin is melted such that the reinforced fibers to be bonded. Particularly, the reinforced fiber supply robot (30) comprises: a plurality of reels (33) around which the reinforced fibers (F) having a thermoplastic resin coated on the surfaces thereof are wound; a plurality of supply rollers (34) for transferring and supplying, to the table (22), the reinforced fibers (F) withdrawn from the plurality of reels (33); a cutter (36) for cutting, into a predetermined length, the reinforced fibers (F) supplied through the supply rollers (34); and a compression roller (37) for making the ends of the reinforced fibers (F), which have been cut by the cutter (36), come into close contact with the table (22).
