Abstract:
A fiber structure is provided which enables the observer to observe the intended color effect without color visibility being greatly limited by the direction or angle of observation. A woven or knitted fabric (1) has multiple ridges (6) formed along one direction, and each ridge (6) is configured from a top (3) and side walls (4), (5) below the top (3). Of the top (3) and side walls (4), (5), at least one has a color different from that of the other two. At least some of the multiple ridges (6) are arranged such that the interval L4 between adjacent ridges (6) is greater than 2.5 mm and less than or equal to 30 mm. Defining L1 as the width of the top (3), L2 as the thickness of the top (3), L3 as the height of the sidewalls (4), (5), and L5 as the wall interval of the sidewalls (4), (5), the ridges (6) are configured such that L1 to L5 satisfy the following relations.
Ratio Ra = (L2+L3) / L4 = 0.8-7.9
Ratio Rb = L1/(L2+L3) = 0.4-1.6
Ratio Rc = L2/L3 = 0.2-0.9
Ratio Rd = L1/L5 = 0.4-1.2
